Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Construction Estimator in the Construction Industry in a hybrid work environment in Markham, Ontario.
Agilus is recruiting for a full-time permanent Junior Construction Estimator in the Greater Toronto Area. This is an excellent chance for an early-career estimator who wants to gain experience on exciting new-build commercial projects. Working closely with senior estimating and project teams, you'll support bid preparation, quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and project pricing while helping deliver successful construction projects from pre-construction through award.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
- Assist with project estimates, budgets, and bid submissions
- Review construction drawings and contract documents




- Solicit and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
- Support preparation of tender and quotation packages
- Maintain estimating databases and project documentation
- Coordinate with project managers and construction teams
- Assist with cost analysis and estimate reconciliation

Requirements:

- Possess 1-3 years of estimating or construction-related experience
- Demonstrate experience performing quantity take-offs
- Support estimating activities on commercial, retail, or new-build projects
- Understand construction drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications effectively
- Bring strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with Procore considered a strong asset
- Background in electrical contracting considered a significant advantage
