Job Overview
We seek a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed during food preparation and handling.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including proper storage of food items.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management as necessary.
- Help train current kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred,
with familiarity in food service operations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in meal preparation.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- A passion for cooking and a desire to learn new techniques in the culinary arts is highly valued.
