Worklynx Recruitment Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright for a manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing corrugator machinery, auxiliary equipment, and other plant systems to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain corrugator and plant equipment, including slitters, conveyors, compressors, strappers, and boilers.
- Perform preventative maintenance, lubrication, and mechanical repairs.
- Carry out minor electrical repairs and read electrical schematics.
- Monitor boiler room operations, perform daily water tests, and maintain engineering logbooks.
- Repair forklifts, including hydraulic, transmission, fuel, and starting issues.
- Prepare and monitor starch batches, including viscosity and temperature checks.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and protected condition.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Complete maintenance records and report equipment or quality issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Maintenance Mechanic or Millwright licence preferred.
- Stationary Engineer Certificate considered an asset.




- Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Electrical troubleshooting experience and ability to read electrical schematics considered an asset.
- Experience with preventative maintenance (PM) programs preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
