Calgary Repairs is a growing Calgary residential repair company. Homeowners book the job with us, and we bring in skilled contractors I work with to do the work. We are looking for a carpenter to join the contractors we call on for residential repair work.
Jobs are offered one at a time, based on fit. There is no promise of steady hours, and you are always free to turn a job down. You price your work, we confirm the price with the client, and once the client approves, you deal with the client directly to schedule.
Work could include:
- Door and frame repairs, casing and trim
- Deck and fence repairs
- Stairs, railings and small framing repairs
- General residential carpentry repairs and small installs
What we need:
- 3+ years of residential carpentry experience
- You must have your own tools and your own vehicle, this is a firm requirement
- Ability to work independently and manage your time
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable working in homes and rental properties
- Clean, respectful work in people's homes, and photos of the finished job
- A quick reply when a job is offered, even if the answer is no
What you get:
- Jobs brought to you, with the client relationship and the paperwork handled for you
- Prompt payment once the job is done and invoiced
- Straightforward administration. We keep agreements and process as straightforward as possible
To apply, please send a short note about your experience, the areas of Calgary you cover, and a couple of photos of recent work if you have them.
