About the Real Estate Foundations Program

- This is a full-time, contract opportunity running from May to September 2027 and is ideal for students seeking a co-op placement or summer internship experience.

While the Summer Leasing Associate role will remain focused on leasing and operations, you will also be part of CLV Group’s Real Estate Foundations Program, an early talent experience designed to introduce students to the real estate industry.
In addition to hands-on leasing experience, students will have opportunities to connect with other summer students, learn from leaders across the business, participate in professional development sessions, and gain exposure to different areas of real estate, including property management, marketing, finance, development, and acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities

Fundamentals in Real Estate - Real Estate Foundations:

- Build hands-on experience in residential leasing, customer service, sales, and property operations
- Attend learning sessions and workshops led by leaders across CLV Group
- Gain exposure to areas of the business such as marketing, finance, development, acquisitions, and property management
- Connect and network with fellow students, early talent employees, and professionals across the organization
- Participate in team events, site tours, and other opportunities to learn more about the real estate industry
- Develop transferable skills in communication, relationship building, problem solving, and professional growth
- Explore future co-op, internship, recent graduate, and full-time career opportunities with CLV Group and InterRent

Customer Experience & Leasing Tours:

- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective residents, responding promptly and professionally via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Conduct property tours, showcasing available units, amenities, and community features to prospective tenants with enthusiasm and expertise.




- Build rapport with prospective residents by understanding their needs and matching them with the right home within our portfolio.
- Ensure that every prospective resident receives a welcoming, informative, and engaging experience that aligns with our brand values.
- Follow up with prospective tenants to nurture leads and maximize leasing conversions.
- Approach every interaction with warmth, empathy, and a proactive attitude to ensure potential residents feel heard and valued.

Leasing & Application Process:

- Guide prospective residents through the leasing process, explaining lease terms, pricing, and community policies.
- Assist with processing rental applications, collecting required documents, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of lease agreements, renewals, and prospect information within our CRM and property management software.
- Support lease execution, renewals, and move-in coordination to provide a seamless transition for new residents.
- Implement leasing strategies to drive occupancy rates and optimize revenue.

Marketing & Community Engagement:

- Represent the company at community and networking events to promote our properties and attract potential residents.
- Gather and implement feedback to continuously improve the leasing experience and drive resident satisfaction.
- Promote a positive, high-energy work environment that encourages teamwork and accountability.

Operational & Administrative Support:

- Generate reports and track key leasing metrics to support decision-making and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with leasing procedures and regulatory requirements.
