Job Overview

The Salon Manager & Social Media Content Creator coordinates salon operations and develops engaging digital content to strengthen the salon’s online presence. This role combines day-to-day organization with creative planning, publishing, and performance tracking across relevant platforms.

Duties

- Coordinate salon schedules, daily workflows, and team communication to support a welcoming, organized customer experience.
- Create and proofread social media content; use graphic design tools to produce polished visuals and maintain a consistent brand voice.
- Plan and publish campaigns using Hootsuite or Buffer, including Facebook Advertising, and apply SEO and keyword research to improve discoverability.
- Track engagement with Google Analytics, refine digital marketing and e-commerce content, and use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Adobe Creative Suite for creative work.

- YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media & Content Creation

- Develop and manage weekly and monthly social media content strategies.
- Film and photograph salon services, transformations and behind-the-scenes moments.
- Create and edit engaging Instagram Reels, TikToks and promotional videos.
- Write creative captions, hooks and calls-to-action.
- Maintain a consistent and elevated brand image across social platforms.




- Plan promotions, campaigns and seasonal content.
- Monitor engagement, track analytics and prepare monthly performance reports.
- Respond to social media comments and inquiries professionally.

Salon Management & Client Experience

- Assist with overseeing daily salon operations.
- Help coordinate appointments and manage the salon schedule.
- Answer incoming calls and assist with client inquiries.
- Ensure clients receive an exceptional salon experience.
- Support the team with organization and day-to-day studio needs.
- Help maintain a professional, welcoming and organized environment.

Marketing & Brand Growth

- Promote our hair, colour, bridal and beauty services.
- Support influencer collaborations and brand partnerships.
- Assist with email marketing, website updates, SEO and paid advertising as skills develop.
- Identify creative opportunities to increase visibility, inquiries and bookings.

Qualifications

Required: Practical organization, explicit communication, proofreading, and digital content skills support salon coordination and accurate, engaging publishing. Preferred: Related salon management, digital marketing, e-commerce, SEO, social media scheduling, analytics, Facebook Advertising, graphic design, or Adobe Creative Suite experience can strengthen your contribution.

Pay: $17.60-$23.00 per hour
