We import craft beers from all over the world and sell them to retailers and licensees. We are looking for an inside sales expert to increase our British Columbia and Saskatchewan sales. Much of the job can (and must) be done remotely.
This is a part time position - salary + commission.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively conduct outbound sales calls to drive new business and repeat business with current accounts in British Columbia and Saskatchewan
- Cold calling potential accounts
- Respond to inbound client calls with a high level of customer service and attention to their wants and needs
- Resolve any order-related problems
- Participate in weekly sales meetings to update the team on weekly progress and strategize for the coming week
- Be an active member of the sales team, supporting sales in provinces other than British Columbia and Saskatchewan as the need warrants
- Assist purchasing department in gauging interest for new products
- Use social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) to market beer products and associated events
- Preparing pre-orders and newsletters and reports on sales activities and updating client relationship management databases
Requirements:
- Sales experience
- Knowledge and passion for craft beer and the desire to educate yourself further
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including SharePoint
- Previous experience with CRM software
Must be able to work in a small business culture
