About us

Morningstar Wire Industries is a premier manufacturer of high-quality industrial wire products. We specialize in producing precision metallic mesh, high-tensile filtration screens, and heavy-duty industrial netting for the aerospace, agricultural, and mining sectors. We are currently seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Wire Weaving Loom Machine Operator to join our production team.

*Job Summary*

As a Wire Weaving Loom Machine Operator, you will setup, calibrate, and operate our industrial shuttleless rapier looms and pre-crimping weaving machinery. You will be responsible for translating technical blueprints into high-precision wire mesh profiles, ensuring continuous machine operation, and maintaining strict quality control over wire tension, alignment, and weave structural integrity.

*Responsibilities*

- Machine Setup & Operation: Configure industrial wire mesh looms, including threading warp wires, adjusting tension systems, installing rapier tapes, and setting crimping wheels according to job specifications.
- Production Monitoring: Run mechanical wire weaving machines, constantly monitoring wire feed consistency and mechanical timing to prevent overlaps or breaks.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished wire mesh rolls using micrometers, calipers, and mesh counters to verify exact wire diameters, aperture sizes, and weave patterns against blueprint tolerances.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform routine mechanical adjustments, clear wire jams, replace worn parts, and conduct basic preventative maintenance on looms to minimize downtime.
- Material Handling:

Load heavy wire spools onto machine pay-off stands using overhead cranes or forklifts, and properly label and store completed mesh rolls.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized workstation and strictly adhere to all workplace safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

*Qualifications*

- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating industrial weaving looms, textile machinery, high-tension metal forming/wire drawing equipment, or any related machine metal fabrication machinery. Experience with wire mesh manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical data sheets, and production orders.
- Tool Proficiency: Confident using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers) and standard mechanical hand tools.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and safely navigate a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
- Core Attributes: Robust mechanical aptitude, sharp spatial awareness, and a meticulous eye for physical defects.

If you possess these skills and are looking to work in a dynamic environment where you can utilize your expertise as a Wire Weaving Loom Machine Operator, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
