Toronto Event Centre | Grand Bizarre is seeking reliable, motivated, and hardworking Bussers / Floor Assistants to join our hospitality and events team.

We are looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, demonstrate professionalism, and take pride in providing exceptional support to our service and operations teams.

This is an event-based position, with shifts scheduled according to operational requirements and event bookings. Hours and shifts may vary from week to week and are not guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities

- Clear, clean, and reset guest tables efficiently throughout events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest seating areas and service stations.
- Restock supplies, glassware, and other necessary service items.
- Assist servers, bartenders, and floor management with operational needs.
- Promptly remove used glassware, dishes, and other items from guest areas.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
- Respond to operational requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform other reasonable duties related to the position as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, nightclubs, or event operations is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced setting.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.




- Ability to remain standing or walking for extended periods and perform the physical tasks associated with the position, with accommodation where required.
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing operational needs.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Scheduling & Availability

- Saturday evening and late-night availability is required, as this is our primary operating period.
- Additional shifts may be available for special events and private functions.
- Scheduling is based on event requirements, operational needs, and employee availability.
- This is an event-based position; employees are not guaranteed a set number of shifts or weekly hours, subject to applicable employment standards.
- Employees are expected to review and respond to shift notifications in a timely manner.
