Support daily childcare operations at Kiwassa Neighbourhood House, coordinating activities, safety, supplies, and communication in East Vancouver.

This part time contract position works 15 hours weekly at 2425 Oxford Street. The Out of School Care Leader supports a welcoming, inclusive community through programming for children ages 6 to 12. Duties include purchasing supplies within budget, following facility procedures, communicating with families and support workers, and providing reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Purchase program supplies within budget and standards
- Follow Kiwassa safety policies and facility procedures
- Maintain communication with parents and caregivers
- Provide updates and reporting as required
- Prepare activities and care for program participants

Requirements:

- Recent related experience of one year
- Emergency Child Care First Aid certification or obtainable within 90 days
- Minimum age of 19 on the first workday
- Ability to work Monday through Friday shifts
