Overview

The Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper supports smooth daily kitchen operations by keeping dishes, tools, and work areas clean and ready. This hands-on role also assists with meal preparation and food service, helping the team serve customers efficiently and maintain an orderly workspace.

Responsibilities

- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment; return clean items to their proper places.
- Clean and organize kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas, following food safety and food handling practices.
- Assist with food preparation and meal preparation, including basic cooking tasks as directed.
- Support serving and food service by restocking supplies, moving prepared items, and helping kitchen staff as needed.

Experience

Required: Practical ability to follow food safety and food handling procedures, keep work areas clean, and assist with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks. Reliability, teamwork, and attention to cleanliness support secure, organized service.

Preferred: Restaurant experience, kitchen experience, food service experience, or familiarity with the food industry is helpful. Experience with cooking, meal preparation, or serving can also support success in this role.

Pay: From $16.40 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 35.0 per week
