Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including hot stone, cupping, prenatal, deep tissue, and sports massage.
- Conduct thorough client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on their specific conditions and preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment space to ensure a positive experience for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs, preferences, and any contraindications related to their health.
- Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress while adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques,
and best practices through ongoing education and training.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a skilled manner.
Experience
- entry level or experienced Massage Therapist with a valid state license or certification.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and common conditions treated through massage therapy.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
- Previous experience in a customer service role is highly desirable, showcasing your commitment to client satisfaction.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed to accommodate client schedules.
