The Safety & Compliance Clerk will assist in maintaining safety records, monitoring regulatory compliance, and supporting the implementation of company safety policies. This role requires solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced transportation environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and organize driver safety and compliance files
- Track driver qualifications including licenses, abstracts, medical certificates, and training records
- Monitor Hours of Service (HOS) logs and ensure regulatory compliance
- Assist with accident/incident reporting and documentation
- Track and schedule driver safety training and orientations
- Maintain records required for Ministry of Transportation (MTO) compliance
- Assist with internal safety audits and regulatory inspections
- Monitor vehicle inspection reports and maintenance compliance




- Communicate with drivers and management regarding safety requirements
- Prepare safety and compliance reports for management

Qualifications

- Previous experience in transportation safety, compliance, or administration preferred
- Knowledge of Ontario MTO regulations is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and office software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

- Experience working with ELD systems or driver log monitoring
- Knowledge of CVOR compliance requirements
- Experience in trucking, transportation, or logistics industry

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
