We are seeking reliable and professional Cargo Van Owner-Operators for parcel delivery operations in Whitby and the surrounding Durham Region.
Successful candidates will be responsible for collecting, transporting and delivering parcels safely and efficiently.
Previous delivery experience is an asset but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- $1.60 per successfully completed delivery
- Potential earnings of $800–$1,680 weekly
- Approximately 100–150 parcels daily
- $100 monthly gift card
- One complimentary oil change every month at our designated service shops
- Biweekly payments
- 5–7 working days per week, subject to route availability
- Minimum 3-month contract
Vehicle Requirements
Applicants must own or lease a full-size cargo van, such as:
- GMC Savana / Chevrolet Express
- Ford Transit (Full-Size)
- Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
- Ram ProMaster (Full-Size)
Compact cargo vans, including Ford Transit Connect, are not accepted.
Driver Requirements
- Valid Ontario G or G2 driver’s licence
- Three-year driver’s abstract (maximum 2–3 minor convictions, subject to approval)
- Satisfactory police criminal record check
- Copy of valid driver’s licence
- Proof of commercial vehicle insurance
- Smartphone and ability to use delivery applications
- Reliable, punctual and qualified
Responsibilities
- Pick up, load and deliver assigned parcels.
- Complete routes safely and efficiently.
- Scan packages and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Maintain a clean, safe and properly insured vehicle.
- Cover fuel, insurance, repairs and vehicle operating expenses, except for the complimentary monthly oil change.
