About Soul Sisters Café
Soul Sisters Café is a newly opened, community-focused café in Okotoks. We offer specialty coffees, teas, freshly prepared food, and a welcoming place for people to gather and connect.
We're looking for a friendly, dependable and enthusiastic barista to join our growing team for regular weekend shifts.
Consistent Weekend Availability Is Essential
Applicants must be available to work both Saturday and Sunday every week on an ongoing basis.
We understand that everyone has commitments outside of work. However, these are established, recurring shifts, and we need someone who can reliably commit to the schedule.
This position is ideal for someone seeking consistent part-time employment with predictable hours.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffees, teas and other beverages
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service
- Prepare and serve light food items
- Operate the point-of-sale system and handle payments
- Maintain café cleanliness and food safety standards
- Assist with opening, closing and general café operations
- Work collaboratively with a small team during busy weekend periods
What We're Looking For

- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous barista or hospitality experience is an asset, but not essential

Before Applying
Please ensure you can consistently work Saturday 7:30 AM–2:00 PM and Sunday 7:30 AM–1:30 PM, including during the school year and other periods when your availability might change.
We are looking for a long-term team member rather than temporary or occasional weekend coverage.
Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
