Soul Sisters Café is a new community-focused café in Okotoks, offering specialty coffees, teas, freshly prepared food, and a welcoming space for people to connect. We also support local artists, artisans, authors, and musicians through events and community activities.
We're looking for a friendly, dependable and enthusiastic barista to join our growing team.
Consistent Availability Is Essential
Please apply only if you can reliably work all three scheduled shifts every week on an ongoing basis.
We understand that employees have commitments outside of work. However, this position requires someone whose existing obligations will not regularly conflict with the advertised schedule.
These are established shifts, not versatile or occasional hours.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffees, teas and other beverages
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service
- Prepare and serve light food items
- Operate the point-of-sale system and handle payments
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Assist with opening, closing and general café operations
- Contribute ideas and help create a welcoming café atmosphere
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, punctual and committed to scheduled shifts
- Friendly and confident interacting with customers
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Willing to learn and take initiative
- Previous barista or hospitality experience is an asset, but not essential
- Available to begin training as soon as possible

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.5 per week
