We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Accountant to support financial operations for projects in Woodbridge, Ontario. This role focuses on maintaining accurate records, coordinating billing activity, and ensuring payables and receivables are processed in a timely manner. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to reconcile accounts, review financial data, and contribute to efficient day-to-day accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

- Manage project-related financial records, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and supporting documentation is complete.
- Prepare and issue invoices, monitor billing activity, and follow up on outstanding balances to support healthy cash flow.
- Process vendor invoices and payments while verifying coding, approvals, and alignment with company procedures.
- Reconcile accounts regularly by reviewing discrepancies, investigating variances, and resolving outstanding items.
- Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records to support accurate reporting and timely month-end activities.
- Use Microsoft Excel to organize financial data, prepare reports, and assist with analysis for ongoing projects.
- Support financial administration within Jonas Club Software by entering data, reviewing transactions, and maintaining system accuracy.
- Experience handling account reconciliations, billing, and general accounting support activities.
- Practical knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes in a business environment.




- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, organizing, and reviewing accounting information.
- Familiarity with invoice processing and documentation control within an accounting function.
- Experience using Newstar Enterprise or the ability to learn similar accounting systems quickly.
