Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with appointments and daily clinical procedures.
- Restrain and handle animals safely and compassionately.
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain a clean, organized hospital environment.
- Assist with animal care, including feeding, walking, bathing, and monitoring patients.
- Clean and disinfect kennels, treatment areas, and medical equipment.
- Help with client communication and provide friendly customer service.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and other front-desk duties when needed.
- Support the overall daily operations of the hospital.
Qualifications
- A genuine love and passion for animals.
- Previous veterinary or animal care experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable handling animals of different sizes, temperaments, and breeds.
