Perform cardiac diagnostic testing as a part time Echocardiographer at Scarborough Health Network’s Centenary Site, supporting physicians across all shifts.
Reporting to the Manager, this temporary 12-month Echocardiographer position provides testing and assists diagnosis for patients with cardiac and associated disorders. The schedule includes Saturdays and vacation coverage for full time staff. Work takes place within SHN’s hospital and satellite-site network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic testing for cardiac and associated disorders
- Assist physicians in diagnosing patients with cardiac conditions
- Work Saturdays and cover full time staff vacations
- Support patient safety and environmental safety practices
Requirements:
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer designation
- ARDMS certification and current BCLS certification
- Minimum one year of clinical experience
- Clinical experience with TEE and Doppler techniques
- Experience with Dobutamine Stress and independent team-based work
Use echocardiography, TEE, Doppler, and cardiac diagnostic expertise to support patients and physicians at SHN.
