This regular Advisor position is the Canadian reference for health and safety laws, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures. You will help ensure compliance while reviewing performance and improving local processes. The position also develops communications, prepares monthly reports, responds to functional requests, and contributes to special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Canadian health and safety requirements
- Complete monthly performance reports for health, safety, and well-being
- Develop required workplace health and safety communications
- Review performance trends and identify improvement opportunities
- Optimize local committee self-management processes
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent professional health and safety background
- Five to eight years in health, safety, and well-being
- Solid communication and influencing capabilities
- Independent problem-solving and trend analysis abilities
- Google for Business, Agile, and CRHA or HRPA knowledge are assets
