Apply electromagnetic compatibility testing expertise at CSA Group as a full time Laboratory Technician supporting standards-based product evaluation. Operate laboratory equipment and document precise results.

Under general direction, this technician designs experimental setups, conducts programs, and tests products against applicable standards. The work includes EMC and radio standards, RF measurements, equipment troubleshooting, calculations, and technical reporting. The position also supports certifiers with testing information, interpretations, and certification status updates.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct equipment tests and interpret results against applicable standards
- Assemble samples and connect laboratory equipment for testing
- Perform calculations and compile data into reports




- Analyze complex devices for compliance with applicable requirements
- Exchange testing information with certifiers and departments

Requirements:

- Three-year technical certificate or equivalent education and experience
- Five to eight years of related experience
- Proficiency with EMC and radio standards testing
- Familiarity with EMC chamber calibrations and RF measurements
- Knowledge of safe practices and laboratory equipment operation
