Position Overview As a Dental Hygienist at CFB Cold Lake, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality oral healthcare to the men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces. • Perform scaling, root planning, curettage,



polishing procedures, desensitizing agents, occlusal sealants and anti-cariogenic agents
• Provide oral hygiene instructions, nutritional counselling and smoking cessation
• Conduct periodontal examinations and record clinical findings
• Take digital radiographs
• Provide administrative support such as updating patient databases, scheduling programs, and maintaining patient records Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
• Registered and in good standing within the province of Alberta (ACDH)
• CPR Level C or BLS provider Additional Requirements
• Eligible to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level
