Pay Range: $50.00hr - $55.00hr

Job Overview:

The candidate will design, develop, test, deploy, support, and evolve mainframe software applications delivering banking services while ensuring high platform availability and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, deploy, support, and evolve software to deliver banking services.
- Lead conversion, attestation, and audit initiatives.
- Manage individual priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Assess and analyze business and technical requirements in order to provide estimates and establish plans and timelines.
- Create, update, and contribute to critical documentation relevant to the projects.
- Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members and various IT partners.




- Available for after-hours production support when needed.

Requirements:

- Completion of a post-secondary education.
- Production support experience with on-call rotation.
- Robust verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong background in software maintenance, especially mainframe.
- Expertise in COBOL, JCL, IMS (DB/Online/Batch), DB2, MQSeries, Git/Endevor, and Zeke.

Nice-to-Have:

- Understanding and usage of z/OS Connect, IDz, zUnit, and test automation.
- Experience with CI/CD mainframe pipeline.
