Job Summary:

The Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist is responsible for leading and executing comprehensive testing efforts for large-scale systems, including GUI and non-GUI environments. This role involves developing test strategies, plans, scripts, and cases, performing various types of testing such as functional, integration, regression, and performance, and collaborating closely with project teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. The specialist will also contribute to automation, defect management, and compliance with industry standards and accessibility regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Advise on testing strategy, test plans, tools selection, and resource identification.
- Plan and organize testing efforts for complex systems including integration and user acceptance testing.
- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, scripts, and cases across multiple testing phases.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, performance, stress, and load tests.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM, or Bugzilla.
- Collaborate with developers and project teams to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain detailed documentation of testing activities and quality metrics.
- Provide input for user manuals and release notes.

Required Skills:
- Minimum 8 years of software QA testing experience.
- Experience testing Oracle Siebel CRM applications.
- Proficiency with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Robust knowledge of test planning, execution, and defect management lifecycle.




- Experience with automated testing tools for GUI and API testing.
- Familiarity with SQL and ability to understand data models.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Desired Skills:
- Experience with Siebel test automation.
- Experience testing Adobe AEM.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Familiarity with QMetry and other test management tools.
- Knowledge of security testing practices.
- Experience testing Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications.
- Experience with Public Sector CRM modules and Case Management.
