Own AMD infrastructure platforms in Markham, Ontario, using Kubernetes, automation, and observability across on-premises and cloud environments. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will operate business-critical platforms supporting AMD software development worldwide. Your scope includes Linux and Windows fleets, container orchestration, configuration management, and CI/CD services. You will establish disciplined infrastructure practices that protect stability, security, and supportability. Key Responsibilities:
Own reliability and lifecycle across Linux and Windows server fleets Operate Kubernetes or equivalent container platforms across deployment environments Automate provisioning and configuration management at fleet scale Review infrastructure changes and enforce maintenance windows Build observability and lead incident response improvements Requirements:
Production infrastructure experience in large engineering environments Solid Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar orchestration experience Fleet-scale Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform experience Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS, or GCP Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field Bring platform ownership, infrastructure automation, container operations, and operational judgment to AMD’s global engineering systems.
