The Town of Woodstock NB is looking to fill a vacancy on our team, at the AYR Motor Centre multiplex. The Maintenance workers are vital members of the team performing maintenance/custodial services within the Town of Woodstock recreational facilities, providing facility support for events and rentals.
We are looking for a self-motivated team player with robust work ethics, and well developed organizational and interpersonal communication skills. This role requires a demonstrated desire and ability to deliver a high-level of customer service and consistent quality of work. Our work culture and environment provide an excellent opportunity to contribute to the successful operations of this key asset within our community. The facility is open to the public 7 days a week and the work schedule will include early mornings, days, late evenings and weekends.
REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Organizational skills to keep the facility clean and organized
- Communication and collaboration skills to work alongside other team members & members of the public
- Attention to detail to perform a thorough job and meet performance and safety standards
- Adaptability and flexibility to focus on whatever task is most important at any given time
- Physically capable of performing custodial duties, including frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Integrity, reliability, and trustworthiness to be left to work independently.
- A clean driver’s abstract to meet standard liability insurance coverage.
- Clean criminal record check.
