This long-term assignment suits an experienced operator with at least three years of sideboom experience. Responsibilities include pipe handling, tandem operations, equipment positioning, inspections, and hazard awareness. Camp accommodations and charter flights from Edmonton and Calgary are provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Position equipment safely on uneven or challenging terrain
- Operate sidebooms according to lift plans and procedures
- Carry pipe sections safely with other operators
- Report maintenance or safety concerns from inspections
- Recognize situational hazards and protect site safety
Requirements:
- At least three years operating sidebooms
- Ability to identify required rigging from capacity charts
- Understanding of cable sizes, lengths, and load limits

- Successful completion of required pre-access testing
