As an Assistant Product Developer, you will help translate design concepts into production-ready garments. The work spans first prototype fittings, pre-production samples, size sets, and top-of-production samples. You will collaborate with the Designer, review samples against tech packs, and preserve a cohesive style history while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Designer on seasonal product development
- Establish desired garment look and fit
- Measure samples and review construction before fittings
- Maintain fit standards throughout development stages
- Present solutions for yarn and fabric quality issues
Requirements:
- Two or more years in garment product development
- Extensive understanding of construction, production, and fit
- Strong knowledge of raw materials and sourcing
- Robust organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
