Support Ledcor Highways winter and summer operations as a Student Operator while completing paid Class 3 license training. Work close to home and help keep highways safe.
This entry-level training opportunity develops the skills necessary for safe, competent winter plow operation. Selected applicants upgrade from Class 5 to Class 3 through a fully funded program. The opportunity may lead to seasonal or full time employment within Ledcor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in fully funded Class 3 license upgrade training
- Help acquire the Class 3 driver license
- Develop skills for winter plow operations
- Support highway maintenance across winter and summer operations
- Commit to required shift, on-call, and night work
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Unrestricted Class 5 license with clean driver abstract
- Ability to pass Alberta medical examination
- Ability to pass required vision screening examination
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
