The Site Trainer develops and delivers training requirements for the Musselwhite work environment. Responsibilities include Common Core, equipment, induction, and specialty training, alongside training needs analyses and audits. The position also supports legislative compliance through complete records and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete training needs analyses and address identified gaps
- Conduct field observations, coaching, and competency verification
- Audit training programs, records, and documentation
- Deliver camp and site-specific training as required
- Review Train-the-Trainer qualifications and competency annually
Requirements:
- Minimum five years of relevant mining, industrial, or operational experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong commitment to secure work practices and coaching
- Knowledge of Modular Training Standards
- Underground Common Core modules considered an asset
