Apply industrial automation expertise to Saputo’s St. Marys location through PLC troubleshooting, instrumentation, and plant improvement projects. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, with flexibility required.
As Automation Controls Lead, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and specialize in automation, control, and electricity. Your work includes programming PLCs and operator interfaces, maintaining technical documentation, and supporting automated systems. You will collaborate with electrical engineering and maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and mitigate control-related issues
- Update PLC troubleshooting documentation and essential licenses
- Maintain installation standards for automation systems
- Support PLC troubleshooting and downtime optimization
- Establish OT/IT controls and plant links
Requirements:
- Two to five years of relevant experience
- Solid troubleshooting and process skills
- Excellent knowledge of automation and operator interfaces
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC programming
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Office suite
