Shape AI model risk oversight at TD in Montréal, leading validation teams across Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Deep Learning.

The centralized AI Model Validation group reviews, challenges, and approves models used across TD’s enterprise businesses. As a senior leader, you will oversee complex validation work, establish standards aligned with Model Risk Policy, and support Canadian and U.S. regulatory inquiries. Your scope includes LLMs, NLP, RAG, Transformers, and contemporary Deep Learning models.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead independent reviews and testing of AI models
- Set team objectives and provide regular performance feedback
- Coach direct reports on development objectives
- Align validation activities with business objectives
- Support audits and regulator model reviews

Requirements:

- Advanced quantitative and artificial intelligence skills
- 4+ years’ Generative AI, LLM, NLP, or Deep Learning experience
- 2+ years leading a small scientist team
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, PySpark, or Hadoop
- Solid critical thinking and project management skills
