Apply deep aeroelasticity expertise to aircraft design loads at Bombardier Aerospace in Dorval, Quebec. Use Nastran, FEM, and engineering judgment daily.
This Technical Expert leads complex static and dynamic aeroelastic investigations supporting aircraft development and in-service airworthiness. You will evaluate tuned discrete gust, continuous turbulence, flutter, and aeroservoelastic responses. Collaboration spans Structures, Flight Characteristics, Systems, Fly-By-Wire, Landing Gear, and Flight Test disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compute airframe and component design loads using FEM models
- Perform agile aeroelastic response analyses with fly-by-wire effects
- Define flight test restrictions and special instructions
- Lead interfaces across engineering disciplines
- Support landing gear development, analysis, and testing
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years in aerospace external loads analysis
- Deep static and dynamic aeroelastic loads expertise
- Experience developing FEM models and performing flutter analyses
- Hands-on Nastran experience for dynamic aeroelastic analysis
- Knowledge of unsteady aerodynamics and frequency-based data analysis
Bring aeroelasticity, Nastran, FEM, and aircraft loads expertise to Bombardier’s multidisciplinary engineering team.
