Akamai seeks a Security Consultant II to guide customers using advanced web security systems and internet protocols. The FlexBase model supports work at home, in an office, or through both.

Within Qualified Services, you will support seamless web application integration onto Akamai’s Intelligent Platform. The Government Services team serves Civilian, Department of Defense, State, Local, and Education agencies across the United States and Canada. This consultative work combines customer guidance, solution tuning, and security product implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as main customer contact for security services
- Provide expert guidance on Akamai security products
- Collaborate with teams to tune customer solutions




- Partner internally with sales teams on customer success
- Improve solution delivery quality through internal projects

Requirements:

- Five years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Knowledge of web development, IT systems, or security practices
- Consultative customer-facing experience
- Cybersecurity credentials or interest in obtaining them

Use consultative security expertise, web implementation knowledge, and customer guidance skills to support Akamai government agencies.
