The Forklift Operator I maintains product flow from inbound receiving through storage and outbound loading. NFI seeks someone comfortable stacking merchandise, completing inspections, and documenting inventory activity. The position also involves cycle counts, inventory rotation, and reporting discrepancies for resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use forklifts, clamps, and push-pull equipment safely
- Stack and store merchandise in designated warehouse areas
- Use RF scanners to support inventory accuracy
- Assist with physical and periodic cycle counts
- Rotate inventory according to company standards
Requirements:
- Preferred six months of forklift operation experience
- Warehouse distribution equipment experience preferred
- Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification
- Solid accuracy and attention to detail
- Basic Excel, computer, math, and customer service skills
