As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will lead Food Travel Experts while developing team performance and maintaining guest service standards. SSP Canada operates restaurants across YOW, including Zak’s Diner and Big Rig Kitchen & Brewery. This position requires food and beverage management experience in full-service dining with a bar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, develop, and communicate with Food Travel Experts
- Implement guest service and brand standards
- Assign daily goals, tasks, and Team Member responsibilities
- Evaluate performance, provide feedback, and administer discipline
- Manage scheduling, payroll, inventory, purchasing, and receiving
Requirements:
- Two years of food and beverage management experience
- Full-service dining with bar environment experience required
- Ability to manage conflict under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain Transport Canada Security Clearance and RAIC
