Seaboard Transport Group seeks third and/or fourth year Apprentice Mechanics for its Mount Pearl teams. The position involves maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and annual motor vehicle inspections. You will complete electronic work orders, communicate required parts, and maintain a clean workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs following safety standards and regulations
- Diagnose issues and communicate required parts effectively
- Conduct preventative maintenance and annual motor vehicle inspections
- Complete electronic work orders and maintain clean workspaces
- Participate in safety and maintenance meetings
Requirements:
- Third or fourth year apprentice mechanic status
- Apprentice certification as a truck and/or trailer mechanic
- Solid mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
- Computer proficiency and professional teamwork
- B620 inspector experience is an asset
