Position Title: AZ Driver

Shift Schedule: Tuesday- Thursday

Start Time: 6:00pm-4:00am

We are seeking dependable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented drivers to join our growing transportation team. Responsibilities

- Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight across local routes.
- Complete deliveries and pickups to customer locations within the assigned region in a secure, timely, and professional manner.
- Operate tractor-trailer equipment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and cargo securement; promptly report any issues to the maintenance department for timely repairs.
- Accurately complete all required documentation, including e-logs,



inspection reports, delivery paperwork, and incident reports
- Maintain compliance with hours-of-service regulations, safety policies, and company procedures
- Maintain flexibility to meet operational and customer demands, including variable schedules, overtime, weekends, or overnight runs as required

Core Requirements

- Valid AZ driver's license.
- Bondable and legally eligible to work in Canada
- Clean CVOR and driver’s abstract
- Verifiable recent commercial driving experience.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations, hours of service, and load securement
- Experience operating commercial vehicles in winter driving conditions
- Ability to accurately complete eLogs, vehicle inspection reports, and delivery documentation
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as required
- Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional, safety-focused approach

Role-Specific Requirements

- Minimum 1-5 year of verifiable Class 1 / AZ driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Ottawa and surrounding areas
- Ability to safely perform hand-bombing, including manual loading and unloading of freight, as required
