Senior Systems Engineer – Responsibilities

- Translate customer, business, marketing, and regulatory needs into defined system requirements and allocate requirements across subsystems.
- Lead integration of complex analytical instrumentation across hardware, software, mechanical, and analytical disciplines.
- Lead system-level risk management, FMEAs, and complex technical investigations, coordinating cross-functional teams through root-cause identification and resolution.
- Drive system readiness for Verification and Validation by monitoring technical maturity, reliability, cost, risks, and issues.




- Maintain required technical documentation and design history records while effectively communicating complex technical information across diverse audiences.

Job Details

The position reports to the System Engineering Manager and is part of the Product Development team located in Concord, Ontario. This is an on-site role.

Essential Requirements

- Degree in Engineering, Applied Physics, Analytical/Applied Chemistry, Analytical Instrumentation or a related technical discipline.
- 7 or more years of experience in analytical system hardware, firmware, software, and/or applications development.
- Experience working with ISO13845 QMS and/or ISO14971.

Preferred Experience

- Practical experience with Mass spectrometer, GC/LC chromatography systems or similar.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $111,000 - $130,000 CAD. This is the range that we in positive faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.

This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
