This Environmental Services Attendant works within the Environmental Services Department. The position involves cleaning physical environments, operating housekeeping equipment, and responding to Codes Red, White, and others. Candidates need Grade 12 or equivalent, safety commitment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean the physical setting throughout assigned areas
- Operate automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, and steam cleaners
- Respond to all required emergency codes
- Push and pull housekeeping carts during work
- Support safety and prevention of adverse health events
Requirements:
- Grade 12 graduation or equivalent
- Ability to lift 18 kilograms and climb ladders
- Ability to walk, bend, twist, push, and pull frequently
- Good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Availability for scheduled shifts and call-ins
