Build Heavy Duty Mechanics skills at Sun Peaks Resort Golf Course, repairing mobile equipment in a fully supplied shop and outdoors. This on-site apprenticeship focuses on safety, maintenance, and resort equipment.

As a Year One Heavy-Duty Mechanic Apprentice, you will learn equipment repairs, hydraulics, electrical systems, and quality of cut. The work supports golf course, landscape, trail network, and ski hill operations. You will develop skills maintaining mobile equipment, golf carts, powered tools, attachments, and mower cutting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and repair golf course and on-mountain mobile equipment
- Service golf carts, powered tools, attachments, and other equipment
- Grind and sharpen reels, bed knives, and rotary blades




- Maintain work orders and maintenance records as directed
- Keep the work environment clean, organized, and protected

Requirements:

- Interest in equipment repairs, hydraulics, electrical, and quality of cut
- Previous mobile equipment experience is an asset
- Valid British Columbia Class 5 driver's license
- Ability to operate mobile equipment and handle loads up to 35kg
- Own toolset and working knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations
