Support safe, clean arenas and community centres in the City of Kawartha Lakes as a permanent part time Facility Maintenance Operator II.
Working with Community Services (North), you will assist with facility operations and maintenance from September to March. Duties include ice resurfacing, building cleaning, revenue collection, and related assignments. The schedule includes day, afternoon, evening, and weekend hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with community centre and arena operations
- Perform ice resurfacing and ongoing ice maintenance
- Clean washrooms and facility buildings
- Assist with collecting facility revenue
- Complete other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous arena or ice operations experience, or willingness to learn
- Mechanical aptitude for facility maintenance work
- Preventive equipment maintenance experience preferred
- Customer-service and interpersonal skills with public and staff
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence required
