Brandon Fire and Emergency Services is accepting applications for Firefighter/Paramedics under Competition #179. Qualified applicants may be placed on a short list for future vacancies.
Pay: $36.62 per hour probationary, rising to $50.86 at 1st Level
Closing date: Ongoing intake (confirm with Competition #179 administrator)
Key requirements:
- Manitoba PCP certificate (or in progress)
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Manitoba Class 4 licence with air endorsement (or obtaining)
- Criminal record and child abuse registry checks
- Vision and hearing standards; NFPA firefighting training preferred
