Reporting to the Aquatic Centre Supervisor and Coordinator, the First Aid Instructor delivers courses following Red Cross and CAR standards. This flexible position includes variable scheduling, from three to thirty-five hours weekly, through April 23, 2027. Instruction serves participants across varying skill levels and learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver programs under CAR and Red Cross standards
- Demonstrate techniques for participants with varying skill levels
- Adapt instruction and provide constructive performance feedback
- Supervise sessions, assess risks, and enforce facility rules
- Complete records, certifications, and participant documentation accurately

Requirements:

- Current Red Cross First Aid Instructor certification
- Valid Intermediate First Aid with CPR-C/AED
- Availability for days, evenings, and weekends
- Maintain current certifications throughout employment
- Additional certifications are preferred
