About the Role
As an Intermediate/Senior Architect, you will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and managing architectural drawings and documentation throughout various stages of the development process.
Annual compensation ranges from $70,000 to $100,000+, with opportunities for future growth.
Scope of Work
- Preparing architectural drawings for submission for Zoning Review, Committee of Adjustments,
and Building Permit applications.
- Coordinating with consultants (surveyors, engineers, planners, etc.) and municipal staff (zoning and code examiners, etc.)
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously across various stages of the permitting cycle and managing project schedules.
- Supporting the construction team with design clarifications and RFIs.
What You’ll Bring
- A bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field.
- Registered Architect or BCIN.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in architectural drafting.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- A high level of responsiveness, transparent communication and reliable follow-through.
- Familiarity with Toronto's municipal approvals process and Ontario Building Code.
