ABOUT US

KY Home Solution manages a diverse portfolio including student housing, long-term residential rentals, and short-term rentals (Airbnb-style properties). This role requires someone who can adapt their communication style to different types of tenants, guests, and clients.

ROLE

You will be responsible for the full cycle of property management, including marketing, leasing, tenant relations, and day-to-day operations. This is a rapid-paced, in-person role that requires strong multitasking, organization, and problem-solving skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing and showing properties across platforms (including social media and marketplaces like Kijiji)

Engaging with prospects through calls, messages, and consistent follow-ups

Screening tenants, coordinating move-ins and move-outs, and onboarding new tenants

Signing leases and guiding prospects to the best-fit property

Maintaining a sales-driven approach to convert leads into tenants

Coordinating tenant placement, including screening, deposits, leasing, and move-ins

Rent collection and handling tenant delinquencies

Sending legal notices (eviction notice, official documentations)

Ensuring security deposit compliance





Conducting property inspections

Managing lease renewals

Communicating with property owners and tenants from diverse backgrounds

Coordinating and tracking maintenance requests to ensure timely completion

Taking property photos for listings, move-outs, and rent-ready units

Using property management software to manage tenants, leases, and operations

Observing operations and suggesting improvements or solutions

RESULTS (EXPECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS)

Tenant applications are reviewed and prospects are contacted within 24 hours

Properties are not vacant for more than 45 days

Qualified tenants are consistently secured

All tenants are under current leases, with renewal notices sent 90 days before lease end

Delinquencies are handled promptly with clear communication and action

Properties remain well-maintained and both owners and tenants are satisfied

All calls, texts, and emails are responded to within 24 hours

REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Must be available to work in-person in downtown Charlottetown
