As Senior Health and Safety HSE Specialist, you will support operations while reporting to the Director, Environment, Health and Safety. The position focuses on continuous improvement, compliance, incident investigations, and return-to-work processes. You will also develop documentation, deliver training, and coordinate audits across operational sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop initiatives strengthening HSE culture and continuous improvement
- Optimize EHS Insight tools, systems, training, and user support
- Coordinate incident investigations, classifications, and supplementary reports
- Review injury claims and support secure return-to-work processes
- Prepare internal and external HSE audits and follow-up
Requirements:
- College diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
- Three to six years in a similar HSE role
- Knowledge of Canadian HSE standards and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of HSE management systems, including EHS Insight
- Strong English communication and training delivery skills
