As an API Lead Architect, you will define strategy, governance, security, and reusable standards for enterprise APIs. You will design scalable microservices, event-driven architectures, and AWS solutions. The work includes API management, integration patterns, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and architecture governance. You will collaborate with business and product teams while mentoring engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define enterprise API architecture, strategy, governance, security, and standards
- Design REST, GraphQL, event-driven APIs, and microservices architectures
- Architect secure, resilient, highly available AWS cloud-native solutions




- Lead API management implementations using Apigee, MuleSoft, Kong, or Azure
- Lead architecture reviews, modernization, governance, collaboration, and mentoring

Requirements:

- Knowledge of AWS API, compute, database, messaging, and monitoring services
- Experience with REST, GraphQL, SOAP, OpenAPI, and API lifecycle management
- Proficiency in Java, Python, Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, and Istio
- Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD, and observability practices
