As Clinical Educator for Personal Support Services, you will train Home Support Workers and Personal Support Workers. Reporting to the Care and Service Manager, you will deliver orientation curriculum, classroom and laboratory instruction, and district in-services. Your education supports secure, quality, client-centered care across business lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver HSW programs and HSW and PSW orientations
- Teach course curriculum in classrooms and laboratories
- Evaluate student progress, achievement, and assigned course work
- Champion ParaMed policies and procedures through staff education
- Provide annual training refreshers on classroom-trained skills
Requirements:
- Registered Practical Nurse registration in good standing
- Minimum three years in adult education environments
- Solid presentation, interpersonal, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle, and district travel availability
- Current, clear Vulnerable Position Screening
