- Supply Chain Coordinator (Remote)Position SummaryThe Supply Chain Coordinator role is responsible for executing transactional and follow-up activities that enable Buyer Planners to focus on strategic buying and supply continuity. This position plays a critical role in maintaining supplier communication, ensuring purchase order (PO) accuracy, and supporting material availability through proactive follow-ups and coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Purchase Order Management & Supplier CommunicationFollow up on daily purchase orders (POs) to suppliersObtain and track PO confirmations to ensure alignment on:Delivery datesQuantitiesPricingEscalate unconfirmed or delayed responses in a timely mannerMaintain accurate documentation of supplier commitmentsLead Time & Pricing MaintenanceProactively request and update supplier lead timesValidate and communicate any changes in lead time to Buyer PlannersGather and confirm updated pricing from suppliers as neededSupport data accuracy in ERP system (JDE)Shortage Management & ExpeditingSupport Buyer Planners in managing material shortagesProactively follow up with suppliers on past-due or at-risk ordersExpedite purchase orders based on production prioritiesProvide transparent status updates on critical partsKanban & Materials System SupportCreate, update, and maintain Kanban cards as ad-hocOperational & Administrative SupportSupport ad-hoc supply chain related activitiesMaintain organized records of supplier communicationsAssist with data cleanup, reporting, and system updatesCollaborate with Buyers, Production, and Planning teamsQualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)1–3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing support rolesStrong communication and follow-up skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferredExperience working with ERP systems (JDE preferred)Understanding of Supply Chain, MRP,
